Today I listen to Gauri Sawant

Today I listen to Gauri Sawant. (TEDx event)

You must have seen her in the recent ad of Vicks India.

Gauri Sawant is a 37-year-old transgender social activist. Born as Ganesh Suresh Sawant, she was born and raised in a guarded family in Pune.

The heart touching thing that she said when she was a kid people asked her what will you be when you grow up, she confessed I want to be a Mother. People laughed at her and said you are a boy and not competent to become a mother.

God grants her wish and today she is a mother and not only caring for one child, but she also helps many people too.

In her puberty, Gauri realized that she is different from others. Yes, she is different not only by gender but also with her smart and great thinking. She fought for her rights. Sometimes I feel that we all live in one society then why we treat some people badly and disrespect them.

It's a time to fight for your rights, preferences, and opportunities otherwise you will come to be a part of the crowd.

In her last 15 min speech, she was wishing to all HR managers of the companies that please bring some policies in the company where transgender can be the part of your company and able to work like other people' and then she said I don't want to say anything more 'Warna mera make-up khrab go jayga' (I will not say much otherwise my makeup will go bad)

She truly teaches us how to fight for our rights and emotions. No one has the power to put restrictions on our dreams and passion #Respect for her.

All grown- up were once children✨

Do you have Dreams?

Do you believe in Imaginations?

Do you ever believe that there is any Magical world beyond the sky?

Do you believe in Magic?

Do you speculate in Angels?

I am sure you believe, if not then you are completely grown up.

Right now you all are smiling and feeling very confident; you all are grown-ups.

Let me notify you, maybe you are a grownup, but it is a problem.

Confused??? I am very much sure you are.

In The little prince book, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry said Growing up is not a problem, forgetting is.

Still confused?? Ok, I’ll explain with a magnificent collection of words.

First things first: "Growing up is not the problem. Forgetting is." Forgetting the little kid in you, the natural impulse to come out and play, the sheer joy of making a new friend, and spending the day doing whatever your heart desires.

I am sure now you can connect with my words.

Sometimes we're so focused on the race to be better, faster, and stronger than everyone else that we forget the real meaning of life.

I am not saying that doesn’t be focused or don't make life plans, my point is don't forget to enjoy life with the journey.

My viewpoint and experience say that don't run for the finishing line, enjoy the entire journey.

When I was a kid there were some terms and condition which confirm your intelligence like if you are scoring highest marks then you are in brilliant children’s category and if you are not, then they had an opinion about your; you cannot do anything good in your life.

I have one more experience; if you are a science side student, then you have a glorious future whereas Commerce and Art students treated as ' Disaster '.

Today, I proudly declare that I Am Commerce student

I felt sad when my surroundings people judge me based on my marks or stream choice, but I was powerless to do anything. But there was an unlikely wish that I want to do something or should I have to say that I wanted to change this rubbish thinking.

Growing up is hard to do. The pressure mounts for perfect grades, perfect extracurricular activities, perfect essays, and perfect time management. Every moment from kindergarten onwards must be scheduled, so no second of learning is wasted. It’s a truth so many today are used to, as childhood disappears into organized activities and piles of homework.

Most of the time I can’t even remember what I was looking for by the time I get there. So I’m not the most allowed person to talk about not forgetting things. I’ve already forgotten what I was going to write about. Something about the connections between childhood trauma turning into adulthood drama and soap bubbles.

Conclusion: All age group is good if you have good people in your life like as if you have great and fun-loving parents, you are happy to be a child and if you have inspiring friends and colleagues in your life, then you're satisfied to be a grown-up.
